Preschool Storytime

Designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Stories are longer than the Toddler Storytime and the activities are more complex. Children must be able to sit still for a longer peroid of time than during Toddler Storytime. Preschool Storytime is 30 to 45 minutes long.

Designed for children 18- to 36-months-old. Parents/caregivers and children interact through stories, songs, and rhymes. Stories are kept short to fit the toddlers' short attention spans. Each Toddler Storytime is 20 to 30 minutes long.

Reading Partners

Reading Partners brings adult volunteers and children together to share their love of reading, Our trained volunteers would love to read to you, or have you read to them, in the Eckstrom-Columbus Branch Library Children's area on Mondays from 11:30 am-12:30 pm. Free GED Classes - Preparation and Tutoring

At this drop-in class get help from our tutors to get started preparing for the GED at your own pace. All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with their Adult Education Certifications, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes, which are held three days a week. Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8. Registration is not required.
