Come join us for stories, songs and fun! Designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Stories are longer than the Toddler Storytime and the activities are more complex. Children must be able to sit still for a longer period of time than during Toddler Storytime. Preschool Storytime is 30 to 45 minutes.

Pocket Monster Day

Come join us at the El Rio Library for a fun day celebrating everyone's favorite pocket monsters. There will be a movie, crafts, contests and prizes! Bring your handheld and card games to play with other fans and trade with library staff.

Linoprinting 101: Create Social Justice Posters

CreateIT! Although linoleum as a floor covering dates to the 1860s, the linocut printing technique was used first by artists between 1905-1913. We will talk about the history of social justice posters and teach youth how to make their own lino prints.

There is no registration for this event but space is limited so show up early! Attendees must be table to attend all 4 days.
