Seeking help with your portable device? Looking for one-on-one help with downloading and transferring a book using your computer? Bring it to the library for demonstrations, questions, and hands-on help.

The Catalina room is located on the second floor of the Joel D Valdez Main Library. You may register online or by calling 791-4010, and drop-ins are also welcome. This Saturday class will be broken into two parts: **Kindle from 11-12** **Sony/Nook/Android from 12-1**

Read to a Dog

Children are invited to read to a Certified Therapy Dog. One of the favorite things for the dog to do is listen to children read lots of stories. Reading to a dog or other pet can help new and reluctant readers gain confidence, increase important reading skills, and develop a love of reading.

Presented by Reid Park Zoo.

Experience the wonder of the animal kingdom with live ambassadors from Reid Park Zoo. Discover what makes each animal special and how it survives in the wild. You may even have the opportunity to touch!

Program animals will be determined on health and handling records, but will include several of the following: bearded dragon, savanna monitor lizard, ball python, corn snake, trans-pecos rat snake, Australian blue-tongued skink, tortoise, hedgehog, guinea pig, rabbit or chicken.
