Toddler Storytime

Designed for children 18- to 36-months-old. Parents/caregivers and children interact through stories, songs, and rhymes. Stories are kept short to fit the toddlers' short attention spans. Each Toddler storytime is 20 to 30 minutes long.

Teen Lounge

Hang out and do fun activities at the Martha Cooper Teen Lounge. Teens 13 to 19 are welcome!

Preschool Storytime

Designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Stories are longer than the Toddler Storytime and the activities are more complex. Children must be able to sit still for a longer period of time than during Toddler Storytime. Preschool Storytime is 30 to 45 minutes long.

Drop-in Job Help

Our computer instructor is available to answer questions you might have on a wide variety of computer topics. Topics include resume writing, online job searching, email accounts, Internet searching and more.

Stay and Play

Presented by The Parent Connection
Learn how playing with your child can promote healthy cognitive and emotional development. Our playgroup includes songs, games and play that promote language acquisition, social/emotional skills, motor skills, and intellectual growth. For children ages 8 months to 5 years.

Mommy and Me Tai Chi

Safe, comfortable space for parents and caregivers to engage in mind-body exercise to relax, rejuvenate, refresh, and have fun while the children participate at their own level (including doing their own thing) in the peaceful space we create. Make new friends while learning how to nurture yourself and then others.

Free GED Preparation and Tutoring

At this drop-in session, get help from our tutors to get started preparing for the GED at your own pace. All classes are taught by Pima County Public Library tutors with Adult Education Certification, and will be taught in English. Students ages 16 and older can attend classes.

Please note that children cannot attend these classes. Parents must make their own child care arrangements for children under age 8.

Babytime

Designed for babies up to 18 months of age. At Storytime, children have an opportunity to do activities that promote development and learning.

ReadStrong: Level Up Your Reading @ Your Library

Drop-in on a ReadStrong session to level up your reading skills. Students in grades 4-12 and adults are welcome to attend these free sessions where the focus is on improving reading skills and reading for fun. Each session will be facilitated by a specially-trained tutor who will help developing readers to build confidence and get motivated all while in a relaxed setting.
