Toddler Storytime

Designed for children 18- to 36-months-old. Parents/caregivers and children interact through stories, songs, and rhymes. Stories are kept short to fit the toddlers' short attention spans. Each Toddler storytime is 20 to 30 minutes long.

Bilingual Storytime / Hora de Cuentos

Se presenta en español y en inglés. Es una experiencia excelente en los dos idiomas para niños bilingues y monolingues.

Presented in Spanish and English, bilingual storytime is a learning experience for bilingual and monolingual children.

Preschool Storytime

Come and hear stories, sing songs, and play learning games with Mr. Bill.

Designed for 3- to 5-year-olds and their parents or caregivers. Stories are longer than the Toddler Storytime and the activities are more complex. Children must be able to sit still for a longer period of time than during Toddler Storytime. Preschool Storytime is 30 to 45 minutes long.

Designed for babies up to 18 months of age. At Storytime, children have an opportunity to do activities that promote development and learning.

At this drop-in session for all ages, get one-on-one assistance with a wide range of questions, including topics such as Job Help, eReaders, computers, and using the library's online resources, all at your own pace!

Read to a Dog

Hey kids! Read to one of the dogs and have fun while improving your reading skills! Therapy dogs love to have books read to them. They never criticize your reading skills and will often give kisses to show appreciation. Come read to ChiChi, Keiko, or Gidget - they love stories!

Join us in the El Rio Neighborhood center for Gamelounge. Lots of great games, and great friends to play them with.

Wild Wednesday

Join us each week for video games, board games, movies and more! Compete in friendly tournaments for library glory or work together to achieve victory in a wide variety of gaming events.
