Read to a Dog
Children are invited to read to a Certified Therapy Dog. One of the favorite things for the dog to do is listen to children read lots of stories. Reading to a dog or other pet can help new and reluctant readers gain confidence, increase important reading skills, and develop a love of reading.

Love Free or Die by Macky Alston is a documentary about New Hampshire's openly gay Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson and the struggle of LGBT people to receive full acceptance in their faith.
Free Screenings of PBS films are made possible through a partnership with Independent Television Service Community Cinema, PBS Independent Lens, Arizona Public Media, and Pima County Public Library's Now Showing at Your Library documentary film series.
Parking downtown is free on weekends. Discussion time will follow screening.
