Friends Author: Ray Spitzer

Ajo resident Ray Spitzer will discuss his latest book, Arizona Guy: Playing with Fire In the book, Ajo band director and community choir leader Ted White and detective Sandy Sandino unite in an effort to stop a serial arsonist before their little border town is burned to the ground.

Playing with Fire, published in May 2014, is the second in his Ted White mystery series. The first, Arizona Guy, was published in May 2011.

Scottsdale author Jenn McKinlay has written more than 20 books, including titles written under her own name as well as the pen names Lucy Lawrence and Josie Belle.

She'll be here to talk about one of her latest books, On Borrowed Time, which is part of her Library Lovers series. She also writes books in four other series. Friends Author: Shona Patel

Meet and hear from Shona Patel, whose debut novel, Teatime for the Firefly, was published in September, 2013.

Ms. Patel was born and raised in a remote tea plantation in Assam, India. The daughter of a tea planter, she drew upon her personal observations and experiences to create the vivid characters and setting for the book. Find Shona Patel online at teabuddy.wordpress.com.
