Teens come on in to Joel Valdez Main Library's Teen Room where we're hosting video games on the second and fourth Wednesday each month. We've likely got your favorites and, just maybe, some you've never played.

Join us in the El Rio Neighborhood center for Gamelounge. Lots of great games, and great friends to play them with.

Teen Lounge

Hang out and do fun activities at the Martha Cooper Teen Lounge. Teens 13 to 19 are welcome!

Wild Wednesday

Join us each week for video games, board games, movies and more! Compete in friendly tournaments for library glory or work together to achieve victory in a wide variety of gaming events. Vote for your favorite flick for "Choose Your Movie!" Earn additional computer sessions and have a great time every week... all here at Your Library!

College and Career Exploration with a Student Ambassador

Do you have plans after earning your diploma or GED? Are you thinking about college or a career, but don't know what to do next?

Meet one-on-one with a Student Ambassador to help you:

• Research colleges and different careers
• Learn how to apply to college
• Get scholarship and financial aid information
• Find resources to learn new job skills

Student Ambassadors are available to meet with high school and adult students and their families.

Amphi Neighborhood Action Mural Workshop

Bring your neighborhood to life! This mural will be designed and painted by a group of youth who will interview residents and dream up a design that will inspire people for generations to come. The mural will be painted on the north side of the Woods Library, becoming a community cultural landmark.
