9 Queens invites all ages to participate in free, non-rated tournaments. Tournaments consist of three games, and there are three levels of play: Rookie, Intermediate and Open. Play in as many tournaments as you can then, on April 25, enter the Championship Tournament at Joel D. Valdez Main Library!

The tournaments run for five hours, so a snack (a slice of pizza) is provided at lunch time. Players must be on hand 30 minutes prior to the tournament start to register.
