Volunteer with the Friends

Friends of the Pima County Public Library are looking for volunteers. The Friends raise money to support Library services and programs by selling used books at annual book sales. They also sell books online year round

Shifts are generally four hours during the week. 2230 N. Country Club (at Grant Rd.) Call 795-3763 or email fpcpl@qwest.net for more information.

About the Friends

The Friends of the Pima County Public Library was organized in 1969 as a volunteer non-profit organization to support the Pima County Public Library. We encourage the use of the Library's resources and services, promote the value of the library to the community and provide funds for special needs.

Among the many projects the Friends have helped fund in recent years are:

The library is supported by city and county tax dollars, however there is never enough public funding to provide all of the services and facilities we all desire. The Friends generate funds through book sales, memberships, dues, gifts and memorials. Join the Friends today.
